Born in a small village, Anand Parab grew up in an environment where resources were limited, but values were strong. His early education took place in Pune at Vitthalasharam Himgiri Vidyalaya, a school known for its discipline and character-building approach. Though Anand considers himself an average student academically, his consistency set him apart — he never missed a single day of school.
A major pillar in Anand’s life has been his father, whose journey of hard work deeply influenced him. Initially working as a rickshaw driver in Pune, his father later took a bold step by investing in a tourist vehicle business. However, life presented an unexpected challenge when Anand’s grandfather fell seriously ill. Faced with family responsibility, his father made a difficult yet selfless decision — he sold the vehicle and moved the family back to their village. There, he worked in agriculture on others’ land just to sustain the family.
This phase became a turning point in shaping Anand’s mindset.
For his 9th standard, Anand moved to a hostel. While educational facilities were available in the village, his father believed that hostel life would instill discipline and focus. Life at the hostel was far from comfortable. Anand had to manage everything on his own — from daily chores to maintaining personal discipline. Simple tasks like bathing with cold water, washing utensils, cleaning clothes, and managing his routine independently became part of his daily life.
These experiences built resilience, self-reliance, and mental strength.
After completing his 12th standard, Anand pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics from Sawantwadi, continuing his hostel life throughout his graduation. These years further strengthened his independence and prepared him for real-world challenges.
However, life after education was not easy.
Anand began his professional journey working night shifts in a printing press. Despite putting in effort, he soon realized that the job offered no long-term growth. Determined to find better opportunities, he moved on and joined a small café. With no staff available, Anand handled the entire operation single-handedly — from preparing tea and serving customers to cleaning and managing the café.
His dedication and sincerity did not go unnoticed. Impressed by his work ethic, the café owner offered him a role in a medical store. Anand quickly adapted to the new environment and learned key aspects of the business, including counter sales, stock management, and basic operations. His ability to learn and grow in every situation became one of his strongest qualities.
The most defining turning point in Anand’s life came when he applied through a consultancy. Without having the required ₹1500 fee, he took a risk by submitting his original documents. He was given two job options — one nearby and one far away. Choosing to step out of his comfort zone, Anand selected the distant opportunity.
That single decision marked the beginning of a new chapter in his life — one that would ultimately lead him toward growth, success, and transformation.
