In today’s world, we are often told that success has a deadline. Study by a certain age, get a job by a certain time, settle down before it’s “too late.” But life doesn’t follow a fixed timeline. And neither do dreams.
I come from a middle-class family where responsibilities arrive early, and dreams often take a backseat. My father works as a supervisor in a company. Every day, he steps out not just to earn money, but to carry the weight of our family’s future. My mother is a housewife—but in reality, she is the backbone of our home. From them, I learned the true meaning of responsibility, patience, and sacrifice.
These values became the foundation of my career.
Today, I work in Dubai as a Process Management Assistant. From the outside, it may look like success—a foreign job, a stable position, recognition. But behind this journey lies something people rarely see: the struggle, the loneliness, and the constant pressure to do better.
Working abroad is not just about earning money. It means celebrating festivals away from family, hiding your emotions behind a strong face, and waking up every day with the responsibility to not just survive—but to grow.
Many people say, “You’re lucky.”
But the truth is, luck plays only a small role. The rest is hard work, discipline, and consistency.
In 2025, I received the Team Support Excellence Award in Dubai. It was a proud moment—but not because of the trophy. It was proof that silent efforts, when done consistently, do get recognized. It reminded me that no matter where you come from, your work ethic can take you places.
But even today, my biggest goal is not money or fame.
My real dream is simple:
One day, I want my parents to proudly say, “He is our son.”
That is the success I am working for.
Career is not just about job titles or salaries. It is about who you become in the process. It is about staying strong when life feels overwhelming. It is about continuing even when you feel lost.
There are days when I question myself. Am I doing enough? Am I on the right path? With career pressure, family expectations, and thoughts about the future—it can feel like everything is happening at once.
But I’ve learned something important:
You don’t have to have everything figured out. You just need to keep moving.
Because dreams don’t expire.
No matter how late you think you are, no matter how many times you fail, no matter how far your goal seems—if you are still breathing, you still have time.
Success is not a race against others. It is a journey of becoming better than who you were yesterday.
I am not perfect.
I am still learning.
I am still growing.
But one thing is certain—
I will not stop.
Because I am not just building a career.
I am building a life that reflects my values, my struggles, and my dreams.
And one day, that journey will be worth it.
